200 people? Ha!

Just a comment on Pepito's requiring Casual Sunday to bring in 200 people:
Ken said he went to Pepito's last night (May 12) and a lot of the regulars were there, and a DJ was playing some continuous-beat changing-song "crap" and nobody was dancing. Soon there was nobody there but Ken, Sherri and Jess's boyfriend. The owner was also there, and saw the DJ clear the place out. Maybe there's hope...

What we need is another moron spinning disks so the kids can dance. Anyway, help me put some testosterone back on the internet and keep blogging.

Serves them right.

Ya know if I had to pick between a dj and a jukebox, the jukebox would win. If I had to choose between a jukebox and a band, the band would win.

Hopefully the music manager was there and saw his dj fail. Or maybe the music manager WAS the dj?

Ya, like why doesn't everybody just bring an iPod and dance to their own drummer? Except, nobody came to hear him anyway. Jukeboxes ARE better. At least they play what you ask for! Ken's wife Sherri asked him to play some Santana, and he declined. The music manager wasn't there, but the owner was.

No news from Doni so far today. The kids both have their own agendas (Castle Park and King Band picnic), so I have the place all to meself.
